The Trophy Tyee QR is a high-quality, fully machined, mid-arbor, single-action reel designed for saltwater salmon fishing. It’s offered in five color options—Copper, Pink, Gold, Blue, and Dark Titanium. A robust one-way disc drag provides smooth stopping power for large salmon, while the mid-arbor layout helps speed up line pickup.
Built from solid bar stock using CNC machining, the reel features a durable anodized coating, a heavy-duty cork drag system, and a 4.5" large-arbor spool. Line capacity is approximately 430 yards of 20-lb mono.
These mooching reels perform well for both traditional mooching and downrigger setups. The spacious spool holds ample line for deep presentations, and the fast retrieval rate makes managing long drops easier. A free-spool function is included for quick, controlled deployment of your gear.
