Jabsco pedestal mount corrosion resistant bronze pumps are ideal for engine cooling, washdown, circulation and many general purpose on-board or dockside applications. The bronze or stainless steel shaft is installed with permanently lubricated ball bearings for long life and heavy duty service. Self-priming with the ability to operate in either direction at variable speeds. Most models have replaceable cams and wearplates for extended product life and total pump overhaul.
The 1673 is a compact flexible impeller pump with moderate flow rate and horizontally oriented ports
Self priming to 10 ft
Two single row ball bearings
The difference between 1673-2001, and the 1673-1001 is the water seal. 1673-2001 uses JAB 96080-0080 and the 1001 uses JAB 92700-0060. Everything else about the service kits are the same, hence they do have different service kits just this water seal.

“I can’t say enough about Thomas P.’s generosity and time. We were having issues with our watermaker across the country in Nova Scotia. Thomas jumped on a video call, ran tests with me, and helped diagnose the issue quickly before our big trip to Newfoundland.”
